About Exploring 

Becoming an Explorer Member with Greek Village Cohousing is your first step into a vibrant and intentional way of living.

 

It’s an opportunity to discover the lifestyle of cohousing—not just the physical location or buildings—but the values, relationships, and shared purpose that form the heart of our community.

 

This process is structured to help you integrate into the group, explore the vision we’ve collectively shaped, and contribute meaningfully to building our future together.

Step-by-Step Process to Join

  1. Express Interest: Send an email to GreekVillageCohousing@gmail.com to let us know you're interested in becoming an Explorer Member.

  2. Complete the Application: Upon expressing interest, you’ll receive an Explorer Application to provide more details about yourself.

  3. Contribute Initial Dues: Community Contribution Dues are €100 for the first 3 months and €75 a month thereafter.

  • this contribution demonstrates your interest in supporting community and having it support you.  The money goes toward essential community services like legal work, accounting, and maintaining shared resources like our website and Zoom account.  These dues are nonrefudable contributions.

  1. Request Your 3 Orientations Sessions: Participate in an orientation session to learn about our community's vision, values, and sociocratic governance.4. 

  2. Attend Sunday Plenary meetings, engage with members, and choose a working circle that aligns with your interests. Explore the community’s vision, collective goals, and the principles of shared governance.
